Hello M.H., how are you? What's going on with you right now?
Hi I'm doing great. I'm busy working on tons of projects at the moment.
Tell us about your job. What inspires you creatively?
I am a jewelry/accessorie designer. I love creating couture body pieces. I have been doing this since the age of 5. It's my passion. Everything inspires me. I can take any object and make it into an accessorie. My mind is always on a creating mode.
How did you come to collaborate with Madonna's team?
I have worked with Madonna's stylist Bea on another project and she approached me with the mask idea and I came up with that. I've been wanting to do a project for Madonna for a very long time. I was very excited to do this.
Where did you get the idea for the minotaur masks for Madonna's dancers? What inspired you? What are the minotaur masks made of?
I worked with her stylist creating something that is covered in crystals and yet comfortable to wear while dancing.
You in fact created 20 masks for 20 dancers. Wasn't this complicated in terms of timing?
Yes it was challenging. Creating 20 masks in one week. It was worth every second. Let's just say there were many sleepless nights.
You saw Madonna's performance at the Grammys. What was that like for you?
Seeing the masks live on stage was amazing!! I will never forget the chills that I had. I loved everything about her performance. The queen is back.
How were the rehearsals, if you were there ? … Did you meet and talk with the Queen of Pop?
No I didn't hi to rehearsals nor met her.
Speaking of Madonna's dancers, were you able to get to know them?
I did not meet any of the dancers. But through social media I did meet a few of them.
How would you define Madonna?
The Queen . I have loved her since I can remember. My dream was to make anything for her and its a surreal feeling. Dream come true.
You worked with Lady Gaga for her "Judas" clip. You've now worked with Madonna for the "Living for Love" clip. What are ways in which they work differently? Is it more difficult to work with one than the other?
I find that it's always a rush but I love challenges. Usually they come up with an idea few days before they need it and I have to come up with something. I'm just happy they ask me to create for them.
What can we wish for you for the future? With whom would you like to work? Is a collaboration with Madonna in view of her new tour possible?
I am currently working on new projects. But yes I would love to create for Madonna's Rebel heart World Tour. It's a blessing to work with such amazing.
